Support our friends in Detroit this Christmas!
Christmas gifts can bring joy to a child while giving parents the dignity of choosing gifts for their families. Through Central Detroit Christian's Christmas Store, donations help create a meaningful Christmas experience while supporting families throughout the year.
TWO WAYS TO PARTICIPATE:
1. DONATE new, unwrapped toys and gifts for Central Detroit Christian’s Christmas Store, giving parents the opportunity to choose meaningful gifts for their children.
- Toys (sports balls, cars, trucks, crafts, building blocks, culturally appropriate dolls, toddler toys, etc.)
- Books
- Hygiene kits (deodorant, washcloth, toothpaste, toothbrush, and soap).
- New Hats and Mittens (winter durable)
- New Socks (children and adult, women and men variety)
- New Underwear (children and adult, women and men variety)
- Teen gifts (headphones, earbuds, phone cases, make up kits)
You can purchase in-store or use their Amazon wishlist.
You can drop off items UNWRAPPED at Trinity in the designated collection area near the Main Entrance by Wednesday, December 6th.
2. WORK AT THE CHRISTMAS STORE. We are looking to serve 150+ families and over 300 children this year! If you or your small group can help at the store, click the link below to sign up!
Setup: Friday, December 11, 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Store Day: Saturday, December 12 - Morning shift 9:30 AM - 2:30 PM, Afternoon shift 2:00 PM - 7:00 PM
Please sign up for the shift and role that work best for you.
