Our Mission
What We Strive For
To disciple a new generation of Christians hungry for renewal, connected in authentic community, integrated in faith and life, equipped and empowered to lead.
Our Vision
What We Set Our Eyes On
We exist to help people:
Come alive with Jesus
Grow with Jesus
Change the world with Jesus
God calls us to flourish, not on our own, but in a family of fellow believers. The High Five is how we measure success at Trinity, as we seek to experience the abundant life Jesus has for us. It provides direction and markers to guide us as we seek Jesus together.
1. CELEBRATE SALVATION
We celebrate new life in Christ through baptism and re-affirmations of faith. Evangelism is resourced, trainied and modeled. The gospel is infused into every ministry of the church.
2. DISCIPLESHIP CULTURE
Discipleship is a necessary committment to both the content of who Jesus is and conversion as well. Jesus asks us to follow Him, learn who He is and to become like Him. We do this through various Life Groups, Journey Groups and classes.
3. CROSS GENERATIONAL COMMUNITY
We believe that cross-generational relationships are biblical and important for the Church. You can foster these relationships by volunteering in the church body, participate in intergenerational missions and service projects, seek out those from other generations, start small, speak and listen charitably and find the connection.
4. MISSIONS MINDED
To be mission-minded is to be obedient to the greath commandment and the great commission. We are a movement for good and for God in our community. Missionaries we support are known, prayed for, supported, and loved. We support EPC church planting as a partner and patron.
5. 2-1-0
Two distinct worship services, one church family, and zero debt.
Our Values
LIFE TOGETHER
Our Church is Better Together
We welcome and love everyone who joins us in our multi-generational community at Trinity. We believe that no matter who you are, life is truly better when it's lived out together.
NEIGHBORING & OUTREACH
The Gospel Isn’t Just for Us
Being biblical witnesses and showing hospitality are a way of life for us at Trinity. We believe Jesus' amazing story needs to be shared all the way from our neighbors down the street to ministry partners around the world.
GRACE & GENEROSITY
We Are Irrationally Generous
Because of God’s Grace
For over 40 years, we have been united in the giving of our time, treasure, and talents because of our conviction that Jesus loved us first.
CHRIST-CENTERED
Our World Revolves Around Jesus
From Sunday preaching God's Word, to our mission, and in all that we do... we aim to have Jesus in the middle of it all.
TRANSFORMATION & DISCIPLESHIP
Open to Jesus’ Change
We strive to continually say 'yes' to the invitation to follow Jesus. As disciples of Jesus, we look for opportunities to be transformed by the grace and truth of Christ.
COURAGEOUS & CURIOUS
We Openly Express Jesus
in Our Everyday Life
We are bold in bringing God's kingdom to the world. As disciples of Jesus, it's important that we constantly search to learn and discover who Jesus is while living and walking in the Holy Spirit.
The Essentials of our faith.
We are affiliated with the EPC, a global movement of Evangelical Presbyterian Churches.
About God
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons (Father, Son, Holy Spirit). We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (the Son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to man and to become the Savior of our lost world.
About Humanity
We believe that humans were created in the image of God to have fellowship with Him, but became alienated from that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are totally incapable of coming back into a right relationship with God by their own efforts.
About the Bible
We believe the entire Bible is the inspired Word of God and that men were moved by the Spirit to write the very words of Scripture. Therefore, the Bible is without error.
Being a Christian
We believe that every Christian should live for Christ and not for themselves. By obedience to the Word and daily yielding to the Spirit, every believer should mature and become conformed to the image of Christ.
About Salvation
We believe that the shed blood of Jesus Christ on the cross provides the sole basis for the forgiveness of sins. Therefore, salvation only occurs when a person places their faith in the death & resurrection of Christ as the sufficient payment for his sin.
About the Church
We believe the church is the body of Christ of which Jesus Christ is the Head. The members are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving Him and making Him known to a lost world.
