SERVE

CHECK OUT THESE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

We are the hands and feet of Jesus and it is our pleasure to offer our time, resources, and energy into our neighborhood.
There are needs all around us and we serve because we remember that Jesus said, "whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
Be a part of the change and see what a change it makes in you!
"Go and make disciples of all the nations." - Jesus (Matthew 28:19)

* A 1-hour Zoom training is required prior to this service event.
EAGLE VILLAGE
EAGLE VILLAGE

Join us on a weekend mission trip to help kids in crisis. Eagle Village is a home where kids who have been abused, abandoned or neglected, receive care. This ministry opportunity allows us to work on the grounds and building needs of the kids homes and school, as well as special time to host the kids with fun activities. This is a wonderful trip to take with your whole family to be a part of the care for children in pain and poverty.

ABC'S IN THE D
ABC'S IN THE D
October - March | Saturdays, 10am-12pm
ABC’S in the “D” tutoring program gives students the opportunity to receive one-on-one educational assistance to improve basic reading and math skills for 4th–5th grade children in Detroit. All that is required is a teachable, flexible spirit with a love for children. Sign up to be a Mentor, serve on the Hospitality Team to provide breakfast to the children as they arrive each week, or use your skills of creative storytelling and share a Bible story that will help the Gospel come alive.

INSIDE TEAMS

FEED THE NEED
Varies Monthly
Feed the Need is designed to create a food inventory of healthy meals, individually freezing them and making this resource available to families that need a bit of help following an illness, life difficulty or loss in the family. This initiative is designed to have meals available and ready to distribute immediately after a request is received. We need volunteers to join Chef Scott Sexton in the Trinity kitchen to cook up some great meals. You'll learn some great cooking tricks along the way!
TRINITY FOOD PANTRY
3rd Saturday/Monthly
Trinity Food Pantry feeds over 200 families from our local community. Discover more and be a part of the teams that unpack and distribute food, serve soup and love on families, help with registration, and so much more.  This amazing work could not happen without those who are willing to give of their time to make sure our neighbors don't go hungry. Serve with us and be a part of something bigger.
HELPING HANDS
As Needed
The Helping Hands Ministry consists of 4 teams of volunteers who are committed to serving others; it is intended to help seniors, widows, single moms and disabled individuals who cannot, for whatever reason, take care of simple yet sometimes overwhelming daily needs.
  • Visitations
  • Common everyday chores
  • Skilled labor
  • Medical & financial counseling
2nd SATURDAY'S CLEAN UP CREW

Do you love yard work? Gardening? The outdoors?  Your whole family is invited to join any of our monthly 2nd Saturdays! We clean up the church grounds, tend the garden and enjoy God's creation! Bring a pair of gloves and a water bottle!

CONNECTIONS TEAM

Help make everyone experience a hospitable and welcoming church! Serve coffee, greet newcomers, volunteer at our Welcome Desk and much more. We need YOU!

TRINITY KIDS
1x/Month at 10:30am
We need you to help disciple our little ones! Would you be willing to hold our babies in the nursery? Can you laugh and play with our toddlers? Email Alyssa Towns and let her know you're in!
